About Me

Marguerite Chadwick-Juner
Oriental, North Carolina, United States
Inspired by the Painting a Day movement, I decided to create this blog and join in the practice of daily painting. Although life happens, and I am not always able to paint and post daily, each painting shown here is completed in one sitting, thus making it a daily. I received my B.F.A. from Cooper Union in New York City. Since then, I have shown my work in many solo and group shows, shipping pieces to galleries around the country. I also participate in art festivals along the eastern seaboard. The gratifying result is that my work is in many private and corporate collections in this country and abroad. A lot of my work is nautical in nature as a direct result of growing up on a tiny island in Long Island Sound. My husband and I moved several years ago to a nautical community in coastal North Carolina which we love for its laid back, waterfront living.
