Penitent Congregation

During my travels out west this past fall we saw many fields of spent sunflowers awaiting harvest in both North and South Dakota. They just brought to mind a huge congregation of people with their heads bowed in prayer. I have never been through this part of the country in time to catch them in full bloom, but it must be breathtaking. However, I do find them interesting and beautiful even in this state.
