The Dragon Teacup

 SOLD
Yes, If you've been following, you may have noticed I have a fascination with dragons. I've collected them in every form since I was 16. This is a delicate little teacup I found in a roadside antique shop in Virginia years ago. The delicate bone china begged delicate treatment in the painting of it, soft coloring and shadows.

  2. Hi Anonymous, I bought that little cup so many years ago at a roadside antique/junk shop in Virginia, that I really can't remember. All I can say is that in those days we were really on a tight budget so I know it couldn't have been more than a couple of dollars.

  3. I have the full set, tea pot, milk jug and sugar bowl.
If you look through the bottom can you see a woman through it?

  4. Hi Jenna, The set must be wonderful. I just looked at both the cup and the plate, but I do not see a woman in either when I hold it up to the light. Sounds like a fascinating feature that yours have. Mine may not, then be "original" or as fine as yours is. I also do not see any maker's mark on the china.

  5. I have a full tea set of the same pattern. Teapot, milk jug, sugar bowl and 6 cups and saucers. I would love to know how much it is worth. I need to insure it
